Olivia’s POV
Where am I? I don’t know. What happened to me? I don’t know. I know nothing! I just feel like I’m floating. Why can’t I move? Wait, now I remember! Gabriel was shot in Italy. But, what happened to him? I can see only darkness. The last thing I remember was the guards carrying us into the back seat of the vehicle and then I fell unconscious. Now, all I hear is the sound of machines beeping. Hold on, am I in a hospital? Did they bring Gabriel to a hospital?
Slowly, my ears caught the sound of whispers around me. But, out of all the whispers, I heard the most familiar and clear voice.
“She is backing consciousness. Quick, call the doctor!” Mom said out loud.
