Everything was almost ready—the food, the set up and all, but everyone wasn’t here yet. Mom helped us cook all the dishes and prepare almost everything. While cooking, she would look after Storm who was enjoying his cousin Denisse’s company in the very spacious living area of the mansion. Before going here, we spent the morning buying groceries and everything we needed for this special dinner. Sapphire and I called everyone who needed to be invited—our families and close friends.
“Perfect.” Mom proudly said beside me as we finished setting up the long dining table in the middle of the garden in our backyard, just near the gazebo. Warm lights were placed on the trees and bushes around to give the place a nice ambiance and familiar feeling of a large family
