Mia’s POV
My heart raced hard as my brother's voice came out of nowhere. I looked around quickly, searching for where the voice came from, and it landed on Cole. He raised his hips and reached to his back pocket, pulling out his phone, and then my brother's voice came again.
“Are you there!?”
My eyes widened instantly.
“Did you pick up the call?” I asked him, but he only looked at me, placing the phone to his ear.
He might have pressed it accidentally with the way I was straddling him.
My heart almost jumped out of my chest... but somehow, I could actually breathe now.
“Hi, Alex. What's it?” Cole said, his tone sounding hoarse.
I clenched my thighs immediately, remembering how we almost just f****d each other if not for my brother's damn call.
