......................in Little Cambodia, located in the Bronx, New York.

I sat on the floor and started playing with my niece. It felt so natural. This will probably be the closest I ever get to having a child of my own, since I am ruined. I am glad we are using scent bracelets.
They talked more. I remember Stormy asking who else knew that they were related and did that person know the identity of Rebecca's assailant? They swore he didn't. That is one of the reasons he focused his attention on killing Li Jun Li. Rebecca refused to provide the name of the wolf.
In all honest, she didn't discover his name until after being kicked out of her coven and she was late into her pregnancy.
We played more. We received three gifts before leaving with Li Jun Li. A Moonstone and Clear Quartz ring that stores energy. A Blue Sapphire necklace to block Li Jun Li witch side for now. The Firestone and Black Tourmaline necklace provides the power to manipulate fire.
The alarms in the restaurant went off.
Outside, disguised in homeless clothes, going through the dumpsters in the back alley of the restaurant was Tristian Beckington.
We hurriedly said our goodbyes.
Bo led us safely out.
We took stairs leading deeper into the basement. The Bronx network of underground tunnels and caves were excavated in Little Cambodia in the 19th century for extracting sand and clay and later, for storing beer. Collapsed sections and voids have been discovered over the years, most notably during a park reconstruction in the 1990s. They include lost rivers and buried streams, like Sumwait Run, which now flow through underground culverts. We learned as we took the tunnels and ended up at a subway station.
Took a train. We arrived back to the building safely.
The next morning, Stormy finished everything with the purchase of the property. Stormy chose the old abandoned farm called the Zodiac Ranch in Connecticut. No neighbors for miles. It would give us the freedom to run, shift freely and grow like a regular pack.
The abandoned farmland is pure agricultural land. It appears as overgrown fields with native weeds and grasses that transition into shrub and forest vegetation. The previously cultivated land that was left idle needs to be worked on. The huge main family house is in good condition but the barns and fences need repair work.
I watched the little Alpha Zion and Li Jun Li play together. They were instant best friends. I could tell it wasn't just because they were the only children so far in our pack. I can't wait to see how their relationship plays out in the future. I think my buddy, Zion, has a crush on my little niece, Li Jun Li already.
Furthermore, I think Keith and Shirley make a cute couple.
Then, Stormy left to meet up with the delivery trucks and the warlock, Lord Thoth. Once we were fully stocked and set up. We received all our supplies at the main road and took it the rest of the way.
Within three days, we were all set up and fully rested. The concealment and revelation spell worked perfectly to the naked eye, our packland looked like overgrown grass and trees on long abandoned farmland in the middle of nowhere. You have to actually walk through a literal mystical dark thick fog to get through the magical fake scenario, and you could only do it if you were a Maverick Pack member. Our guards only walked around the thick dark fog that acts as our protective barrier from unwanted intruders. We could see out but no one could see in.
Stormy got some much-needed resting time and bonding time with her little sister, Li Jun Li, and me. I could tell Stormy was still in pain but trying to give Alpha Terrence time to do the right thing. During that time, Alpha Terrence had indeed woken up but was dragging his feet about accepting the rejection.
After that, Stormy left in a hurry after a call from Misa. Misa reported that they had tried to jump her but, luckily, Misa was able to fight her way out of the situation.

A few hours earlier in the Red Claw pack.
Today was Misa's first day of high school in the Red Claw Pack.
The three-story-high school building stood tall, its brick facade a warm, earthy tone that seemed to glow in the morning sun. The entrance, flanked by tall pillars, led to a spacious lobby with polished floors that reflected the light. A sweeping staircase curved upward, its railing gleaming with a subtle shine. Lockers lined the corridors, painted in the pack's colors, red and white and adorned with students' names and decorations.
Classroom doors, adorned with posters and projects, branched off to either side, each one a portal to a new world of learning. The hallways buzzed with the hum of students chatting, lockers slamming shut and the occasional bell ringing out. The gym and auditorium, with their gleaming wooden floors and bright lights, stood out as hubs of activity, echoing with the sounds of laughter, cheers and applause. The school's proud spirit was palpable in every corner, from the trophy cases showcasing championship wins to the vibrant murals celebrating student achievements and creativity. The building seemed to pulse with energy, a dynamic hub of growth, discovery and connection.
Misa had just got dressed for gym class and was walking outside to join the rest of the class on the field. When it happened.
They held a sheet party for Misa.
It was eight against one.
They threw a long white cotton sheet on her.
"I hate you! Stop fighting! Stop moving! You little b***h! Stop fighting back!!" they yelled.
They started punching and kicking her. She blocked out the pain and quickly focused.
Remembering her surroundings, Misa made her way to the wall of the school and pulled out her gun.
Misa started shooting threw the sheet and could hear screams and people running.
Once Misa didn't feel anyone kicking or punching her anymore, she removed the sheet from off her head.
Three were dead, and the other five were badly injured. The five had gunshot wounds in the foot, ankle, kneecap, leg and thigh areas. However, they still wanted to fight. Strategically, Misa quickly started moving around, avoiding getting hit or kicked by them.
Then, Misa quickly mindlinked her mate, Alpha Sebastian, to come quickly with the pack doctor to the rear of the school. Eight girls led by his sister, Kristen, tried to attack her and she defended herself. Misa informed Alpha Sebastian to his shock and dismay.
"You crazy b***h! Why the f**k do you have a damn gun? Take it from her!! Take it now!!" screamed Sophia. "Get it!!" shouted Amanda.
"Take it if you think you are bad enough to handle me!! I may not have a wolf, but I am still a BAD b***h!! I am not the one to f**k with. All of you need to rethink this bullshit." Misa yelled, aiming her gun at Sophia, who was the closest she-wolf to her.
Enraged, Sophia charged at Misa. Misa shot Sophia in the head. Sophia died instantly.
Next, Misa shot her daughters, April and Amanda, in the head as they ran at her. Stormy trained Misa to take headshots to immediately eliminate all threats to her.
After that, Misa turned her attention to Alpha Sebastian's little sister Kristen, who SHE shot in her ass as she tried to run away.
