She was in room 108, Bruce repeated over and over in his mind as he literally ran to the room. Herald followed closely behind him. He stopped for a second as they reached the door. Two police officers stood guard at the door. Herald spoke to them. Bruce didn’t hear what he was saying. He was too busy feeling nervous and afraid. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for the possibility that it might not be her.
