Jayden and I wanted to cuddle and go to bed after we showered and got cleaned up. The idea sounds lovely, and my body desperately wants some rest. But as I step out of the shower, I see dozens of calls and messages coming from Taylor, telling me my presence is required in the family room.
So even though it’s already 2 AM, and we all know nothing good happens after 2 AM, I still dry my hair and put on an outfit to go to the family room per the bride’s request. Taylor mentioned something about a chill afterparty with “just us”. When asked if I can take Jayden with me, she said sure, like it’s nothing.
But when we get to the family room, I open the door to see Taylor, Connor, Carson, and Kieran, all lounging around the fireplace.
