Without giving it a second thought, I walk over to Kieran’s couch. The whole room falls into a hush and Taylor squeals in excitement. I lock eyes with Kieran and he’s smiling up at me, thinking I’m gonna choose him. But instead, I lean over and kiss Carson on the cheek, which earns a chorus of cheers and laughter. Mostly from Jayden.
I start laughing too and I let out a breath of relief. Carson laughs and shrugs as he looks at both men, and he says, “Hey, hate the game, not the player, boys,”
