Months later...
"Skylar, please step forward," instructed Elder Monique as she stared at me seriously. I nodded and got up from my seat, I felt more confident than ever, I had earned my place and I was very close to becoming a real huntress. The trainees I'd been with the past few months were all anxious for this moment, the moment that the elders decided whether we could move on to the last assessment.
"Skylar, you have improved brilliantly and learnt and adapted really well in a short period of time. Although you're still learning, I'm glad to say you will advance to the last assessment. Congratulations Skylar, and meet the child you'll take care of until she is of age, child 416."
