I was still staring at where Mark had disappeared as he had walked away. His words had really shaken me and suddenly I felt more unsure than ever before. Was I really doing the right thing? When had I become a cold being and lost my way? I sighed and went to sat down where I had been before.
"Skylar?" I heard Adeen say behind me. She was looking pale and a bit worn out. "What's wrong?" she asked unsure and worried.
I looked at her confused, "nothing, why would you think something's wrong?"
