I couldn't help the loud yawn that escaped me inside the room all hunters and trainees were gathered in. Blair shoved me as if in warning and she gave me a glare. Discretely, I looked at Elda who was eyeing me skeptically and also annoyed. I quickly turned away and tried to keep my eyes open for the rest of the ceremony but it was difficult considering it was dawn and Blair had woken me up a few hours earlier to go on a run.
Also, the night before I couldn't sleep, I felt tired but my mind was trying to find Elda's ulterior motive. What could she want from all of this? From me? What was she planning? And how was i involved?
