My heart breaks as I scroll through the pictures Ryder sent me of what used to be their home. It's hard to believe that in just a matter of minutes, his family lost everything. I wish there was something I could do for them, but we're hundreds of miles away. Besides, the outpouring of love from their community will be enough to get them through the coming weeks. Ryder and Courtney are well known around Orlando and the people there love them.
Our plans of moving back to Florida are indefinite due to the fire. Since Ryder and his family will be staying with our parents, there won't be room for us too. So instead of waiting until after the holidays to begin our house hunting, we're doing it now.
