I woke up the next morning with my stomach in knots.
Today was the day.
The public declaration.
I got up and took a shower. Brushed my teeth. Stared at myself in the mirror.
I looked the same. But everything was about to change.
I went back to my room and pulled out the dark blue dress Harlow had bought me. The black shoes. The silver necklace.
I got dressed and looked at myself again. The dress fit well. Simple but nice.
My phone rang. Harlow.
"Hey," I answered.
"You ready?" she asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
"Good. We're coming to get you. Me, Cassidy, and Maya. We'll be there in twenty minutes."

"Don't be nervous. You're going to do great."
