~One Month Later~
Sitting in my office, my head was on my table and my eyes were closed. I tried getting Della's face out of my head but I couldn't. I kept thinking about her. Since she left, and I've been unable to reach her, there wasn't a day that passed by without me thinking about her.
When I was unable to reach her, I called James out of frustration to ask why, and he told me he changed her phone because she wanted to start afresh. I couldn't bring myself to ask him for her new phone number.
