Kayne has always been the type which seemed to have seen and heard it all. It was rare when I was able to catch him off guard.
Like this time. He was certainly not expecting the words which will come out from my mouth would be about him marking me.
I relish his surprise because I knew that I would not be able to surprise him much later in the future.
“Yura, I think I must have misheard you or something but it sounded like you wanted me to mark you, claiming you officially as my mate.” Kayne said and I smiled.
Confused Kayne looked cute and that was a word which I didn’t think I could use in relation to my mate before today.
“Well yes, we are officially mates. I wouldn’t want you to run into anybody challenging your right to me.” I replied rolling my eyes.
