I panicked. I just did.
So I made a very silly mistake.
I lied to Kayne. Kayne of all people!
Yep, the same one who has the ability to sift through the lies which anybody tells him and then I went ahead and lied to my mate.
What was I thinking!
But I think that was the problem. I wasn’t thinking.
I just wanted to answer his question quickly without making him think that I was thinking of a semi truthful answer to give to him so I just blurted out a lie.
A semi truthful answer would have been better.
Hell, with the way, his face was like a storm cloud gathering, I think if I had chosen to pick a fight with him instead, that it would have been better too. Anything else would have been better now.
