I know that I shouldn’t think about it but I couldn’t help myself. She was planning on leaving me. Forever. She grew up a wolf. She knew that wolves who died as a result of suicide has their souls unmade. It was taught to every child shifter. You can never be with your mate in another life time, that is why suicide was not a common option among omegas, even when they existed.
That was what she wanted to condemn me to. A life and eternity without her.
