ANNA POV

The week went by so quickly with all the new impressions and I really enjoyed teaching. I was surprised when I realized that it was already early Friday evening and that I was already sending my students off for the weekend.

I quickly packed up all my things and said goodbye to my students and the other teachers before heading home.

In the evening, it started to get colder as soon as the sun was gone. On the way to my bus stop, I pulled my coat tighter around me. It's a light brown coat and reaches down to my thighs. My long reddish-blonde hair fell down my back in light waves. My mood was brilliant after this good first week, I put my headphones in my ears and listened to my favorite music. With a grin on my face, I arrived at my bus stop a few minutes early.

Tonight I would urgently have to pack all my things for my move. I loved living with my parents and had been happy to have found temporary shelter with them until my apartment was ready. I had lived alone for the last 5 years, I was no longer used to having company in the evenings and was looking forward to having my own apartment again.

My diet wouldn't be the same after I moved out, because my mother was a fabulous cook and cooked my favorite meals for me every day.

I had signed the rental contract last week and would be moving in a week, I was really looking forward to it. The apartment was in the center of the city, only about a 5-minute walk from my work and 5 bus stops from my parents. I would be living close to my brother Alex, he lived as Gamma in the pack house with his mate.

I would finally see him again on Sunday, as he would also be present when I was summoned to our alphas.

It would be a short meeting where I would become an active part of the pack again and be welcomed back. Afterwards, my brother had planned a small family dinner where he and his mate Sofia would update me on their pregnancy. I was looking forward to it and also to the fact that I would soon be an aunt.

The hairs on the back of my neck suddenly stood up, the wolf in me was running around restlessly, I felt like I was being watched.

I looked around and tried to feel if I was really being watched, but even with my wolf senses I didn't feel any threat or where this feeling had come from. When the wind changed, I suddenly smelled a mysterious scent. It smelled like the sea, summer, rain and something very masculine. I had never smelled anything like it before.

I put my nose up in the air and tried to find out where it was coming from so that I could follow it.

But when I inhaled the air again, the smell had disappeared.

Just then, my bus arrived and, after looking around again, I got on.

Third person

Leon and Jason had just finished their meeting and stepped out onto the street in front of the college. The meeting had been long and boring, tonight wasn't going to be any better, they had a dinner date with their parents.

They had been talking about the same thing for months. The two of them had to find a Luna as Alpha and produce an heir.

They were now 26 years old and had yet to find their mate, it was unusual but they were both determined that she was out there. They both knew there was one mate for them, this was almost always the case with twins as they came from the same fertilized egg.

When the two were younger they enjoyed moving around the houses without a mate. For some time, however, it had been nagging at them that they had not yet found their mate.

The two were ready to find their mate and Luna and lay the world at her feet. As alphas, they were the leaders of the pack, but their Luna, who was the heart of the pack, was missing.

As Alphas, they were tall at almost 1.90 cm and had broad shoulders and a trained body. Their hair was brown and reached down to their shoulders. They had a prominent chin, full lips and brown eyes.

Lost in thought, the two suddenly noticed an intoxicating scent. Their inner wolf stirred restlessly inside them. Following the scent, they stopped in the shadow of the college's main building. She was standing at the bus stop, their mate. She was certainly more than a head shorter than them, Leon curled his lips into a broad smile at the same time as Jason. She had long reddish-blonde hair, a slim figure and striking gray eyes. There was a smile on her lips and she was wearing headphones.

Jason was about to walk towards her when Leon held him back.

“What are you doing, that's our mate,” Jason growled.

“I know, and I'd like to go straight to her to mark her,” Leon said calmly, as if he were talking to an impatient child.

“That's exactly why we should pause for a moment. Our wolf and we have been waiting for our mate for years. We can't ambush her at a stop and mark her.” Leon continues.

“I didn't want to mark her right away, but she's our mate. Like you said, we've been waiting for her for so long.” Jason almost whimpered.

“You couldn't stop yourself from running to her. Who would have stopped you and your wolf from marking her?”

“You're right.” Jason said, shaking his head briefly, “We finally found her after all these years, it's very exciting.”

At that moment her mate looked in their direction as if she sensed they were close.

“Anna, our mate is Anna.” Jason said, staring just like Leon for a moment in surprise.

“Perfect.” Leon grinned, looking like the big bad wolf. “She's recently returned to our territory and will be joining us on Sunday for the formalities.”

“Then we'll have all the privacy we need,” Jason said with a grin.

With that, the two of them turned and walked to their car, they would prepare everything so that she would have her mate to herself on Sunday.

They couldn't tell their parents today that they had a mate and Luna after next Sunday. If the two of them had their way, they would mark Anna right then and mate, but they wouldn't rush things.
