One month later
“ still no sign of Alex?” Hailey asked me and I shook my head and groaned out of frustration. I took the jacket she handed me and held my hand out so she could help me with my cufflinks. I had a press conference to attend and I would have to go back to Sydney for it. I couldn’t take Hailey with me because she had to stay at home and take care of the kids since it is a school day.
For the past couple of months we have been searching for Alex and still no sign of him.
“ maybe you should just let it go, I mean he’s not bothering anyone so maybe we should just take it as it is. He probably moved on with his life already who knows?” I looked at my lovely wife and wondered if she was crazy because of what she just said.
