It’s been a week now since we found out alex was dead and so I decided to start working again. I was a bit nervous because I wanted to ask Dominic to let me go back to working for Sarah. She has been asking me over and over to come back but I kept putting it off because I was scared of how Dominic would act when I told him I was going back to work. I mean he’s the type of man that doesn’t take no for an answer so I had to try hard to convince him.
I know he doesn’t want me to work, but I want to since I’m a grown woman. I could easily do it during the weekdays since the kids would be in school at that time. I took a deep breath before opening his office door and making my presence known.
“ is there something wrong?” He asked as he raised an eyebrow at me.
