The moment I showed up at Andrew’s office, all the confidence dissipated into the thin air, leaving my heart beating irrevocably fast. I took a breather before timidly knocking on the door. His annoyingly heart stopping voice answered. When I walked in he looked up from his laptop, a smirk instantly working its way up his lips. It took all of my strength to avoid lurching out at him and instead pull up a slight smile.
“I knew you couldn’t resist me,” he stated confidently.
“Oh please. Don’t be too confident Andrew-oh am sorry Boss,” I asserted keeping up a straight face.
