I was awakened by voices drifting through the door of my room, pulling me from the depths of sleep. My senses slowly returned to me as I registered the conversation taking place outside.
"Alpha, you need to go and see the doctor. Your injuries are quite severe," a voice said.
Then, to my relief, I heard Matteo's voice. "Don't worry, I am fine," he replied and I could sense the exhaustion in his voice.
