As we were just about to enter the restaurant, a woman emerged from the door and bumped into me. I was taken aback as she accidentally crashed into me. My eyes widened in shock when I realized that it was my mother.
Mother!" I exclaimed. The woman looked at me in surprise and there was a confused expression on her face.
"Who... who are you?" she asked.
As I looked at the woman's puzzled expression, a sinking feeling settled in the pit of my stomach. Maybe she was just someone who happened to resemble my mother. After all, we were in the Moonfire Pack territory, and it would be impossible for my mother to be here. But the resemblance was uncanny—she looked like my mother's twin.
