Chad and the others arrived at Blue Lake uneventfully, not too long after their call with Ryker. Lanie still couldn’t shake the feeling that Ryker was hiding something, but she would put that on the back burner for the time being.
“Alpha McEvoy, it’s good to have you,” Wyatt greeted and shook Chad’s hand.
“Alpha Valencia, I’m sorry it isn’t under better circumstances,” Chad replied, giving a firm handshake in return.
