Ryker, Rain, and Arlo sat in the Golden Moon pack’s conference room, staring at each other in a complete deadlock. After Arlo introduced himself and explained that he was also trafficked by the late Marvin Archimedes, the Alpha from Canada, who worked with Eric Patterson to secure Lanie and Lexie, Ryker decided to let him onto the pack grounds so they could talk privately.
“You have questions,” Arlo said as a statement when he saw how Ryker was examining him. “I have nothing to hide. So, ask away.”
“I’m still trying to figure out if you’re lying to us,” Ryker admitted.
“Why would I lie about something so heinous?” Arlo retorted.
“Because you’re not a good person,” Rain replied.
