“Ryker, I think that’s a solid theory, but we don’t have the resources to look into something that complicated,” Richard said to Ryker.
After Ryker and Rain agreed to be more compromising with each other before making any significant decisions regarding their species, they went to speak with Richard and Jonah. Unfortunately, Jonah had already left the pack to return to the one he was assigned to, so they talked to Richard. Ryker was in the middle of explaining his hypothesis to Richard.
“What about the Blue Lake pack?” Ryker asked. Rain was standing silently, unsure of how to contribute to the conversation.
“Although I’m sure Wyatt would be willing to assist, they’re currently mourning the loss of the Beta’s father, Dylan.”
“Right. Sh*t, I forgot about that,” Ryker said gui
