“You said you wanted to walk. So, talk,” Rain said to Ryker. After he found her at the stream and said he wanted to speak with her, Rain took a moment to get her head in the right space. She shifted back to her human form and put on the clothes that Lexie had allowed her to borrow. Ryker furrowed his brows when he saw them. Rain explained that the clothes Lexie had ordered had not yet arrived. Ryker nodded in understanding.
“I think I owe you an apology,” Ryker said.

“I know I do. I overreacted this morning.”
