When Lanie returned from the future, she dropped to her knees and started crying. Chad knelt beside her to comfort her. When everyone asked what she saw, she refused to answer because of the rules that came with her powers. Still, Rylee couldn’t help but peek into her mind to find out. When she saw what had made Lanie so upset, Rylee bit her lip.
“Luna Rylee, what is it?” Richard asked when he saw Rylee’s reaction.
“Richard, you know as well as I do that unless I have a premonition, I can’t reveal what Lanie saw in the future. Which means, whatever she saw is meant to happen.”
“But Rylee,” Lexie wanted to retort, but Rylee shook her head. Lexie nodded in understanding and chose not to press the issue further.
