When Rose asked the kids not to walk around anyhow she knew exactly what they were going to do; ignore her and go ahead to walk around like lost sheep. So, as a good parent she was-don’t give me that look- she put in some mitigation measures and had someone on the lookout. In short, their defiant tour didn't go as planned, they had eyes watching their every move and that didn't feel like freedom to them. Not at all.
Once they were done the guard escorted them to the dinner parlor, booked on the balcony overlooking the lit-up Eiffel’s tower, a table for five was set up with two seats already occupied. Hanging above the ceiling was a crystal chandelier, competing with the dinner candles. Wine was provided and the food was yet to be ordered.
