That evening, after reassuring Alex and Josh that she would be fine, she walked back to her shared room with Damien and noticed he was missing. She went to the first place she thought of, his favorite balcony. She peaked out and saw him standing there quietly. She walked out and quietly stood beside him.
“This is my balcony, I don’t like to be disturbed out here.” Damien grumbled lowly to Serenity.
“Was your balcony. It’s our balcony, Damien. However, if you’d like a few minutes alone, I can leave you. I just thought you’d like the company.” Serenity turned sadly to walk away, but stopped when his hand reached out and touched her. She turned and looked up to him. She could see how confused his face was and she was heartbroken for him.
She walked into him and wrapped her arms around him.
