As they approached the mountain's summit, there was an ominous feel in the air as if the area itself had been tainted with evil. Serenity felt the chill race up her back and the heaviness in her chest the closer they got. The top of the mountain was unique in that it was very flat and largely open. There was a batch of trees to the side of them and then the rest of the top was open. In the distance was a small building made from large stones. This had to be Braum’s dwelling.
They stood there staring at the building in the distance. “I think it is best if you guys wait under the shelter of those trees over there.” Serenity pointed to the small grove located just ahead of them.
