Alaric’s pov
It has been a bit of an adjustment becoming king, Liana and Louis have been spending most of their time at the Vampire Kingdom since it is the only one they need to rule over now. I know they are hoping that Marcus will find his beloved and take over sooner rather than later.
It had caused some confusion trying to work out who would be on the elder council when they left, as the vampire and magical kingdoms have two places each on it. In the end, they decided that Liana’s brother Armand would be on it with her and Vincent, Louis second would also get a spot.
I don’t think either of their parents are happy to still be stuck on it, but since they are both still leading a Kingdom, there is not much they can do. It would be too much work for Liana to do both, and i
