8 days after we found out it was a boy and a girl we were having, Cally went into labour. Unfortunately for her, it lasted 18 hours. The poor girl was exhausted by the end it. Danica and I had flitted back and forward to get all of her family and their numerous gifts for them.
It turned out they probably would have had plenty of time to get there on the plane, but we didn’t want to take the risk and for them to miss it. With Cally being so tired and Claudia ready to give birth at any moment, we just popped in to give her a hug and get a quick look at the little one.
We would come back tomorrow or the next day when she was less tired, and it was a bit less chaotic to meet Jared properly. It was just as well we went home as little Nikita decided to make an ear
