Alaric’s pov
I had always been content with what I had in my life, I never really wanted more than to be the leader of my coven, meet my beloved, and have a few children together. I always knew that compared to most, I had a lot in my life.
Meeting Cassie changed all of that. I was no longer in the little bubble that was my coven, I now had a kingdom to help run and became friends with the leaders of other species. I had a whole new social life that I never expected but enjoyed immensely.
Lilith wasn’t doing great, Ezekiel had turned up just before her birthday to meet his niece and nephew. I suppose they will be if Lilith ever accepts him. She had refused to talk to him, but Hades had somehow managed to talk her out of rejecting him outright.
