Jocelyn stayed the night, but not with Luke. She’d told her dad that she was going to Seattle to visit Bekah for the weekend. Alex would check in on him, along with caring for Fluffer at her place. That meant Jocelyn had two days before she had to face the music and face her family with what she’d done. It was raining. Jocelyn stared at the large bow windows, listening to the rain patter against the glass. She couldn’t sleep, even though she was exhausted. Her brain wouldn’t turn off.
