CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO When Kelly told Jocelyn there was someone at the restaurant who wanted to see her, she assumed it was Luke. But when Jocelyn headed toward the small area near the supply closets and bathrooms, she found her brother-in-law instead. After Jocelyn had been assured Luke was okay, she told Tristan that she was too busy to talk. “This can’t wait,” he said. Jocelyn glanced over her shoulder. It was only an hour until the restaurant would close to prepare for the dinner service. Reluctantly, Jocelyn let Kelly know she’d be in her office and ushered Tristan in that direction. “I’ve only been back a few days,” said Tristan, “but I’ve already heard great things about this place.” “Then you should come by to try it sometime.” Tristan shook his head. “I won’t be in town long.”
