  Clair   “I can smell him, Clair. Calm down! They didn’t leave us; they are already coming back.” Hope’s words felt like a blanket of comfort for my now chilled body.  A couple of minutes later, Hunter opened the door of the room and looked intently at me, “I thought you would still be asleep, sweets.
