"What happened?" I stood up seeing Killian enter the bedroom. "Rebecca is dead." "I heard about it," I replied in a small voice. Killian raised his brow slightly in response but said nothing. "Do you know who killed her?" He let out a sigh, "Not yet, but this is getting out of our hands. We need to find the killer fast, our reputation is at stake." My tongue did not move to answer, I wanted to tell him who was behind everything but I could not utter a word without proof. I watched Killian scanning some papers. His eyes stopped at a point and turned in my direction. I looked away quickly.
