Chapter 3
“When is the challenge supposed to take place?” Dorian asked. After the Elders authorized the challenges on who would be the next true Alpha of Red Mountain, they commissioned Jedediah and Vivienne to remain the acting Alpha and Luna until Zachary was strong enough to challenge Bart. Many pack members were still salty with the arrangement, but now an Elder would remain on-site to ensure that pack members were following the rules; they all kept their grievances to themselves, or at the very least, until they were behind closed doors.
