For weeks, Jedediah held his breath for when the Elders would inform him that the time of Scanlan’s challenge with Bart would come to fruition, and that day had finally come. Jedediah received the call from Elder James that Scanlan was well enough to fight. As per their instructions, Scanlan would be reinstated as Alpha, and Bart would have to challenge him for the title immediately thereafter. Jedediah had no problem relinquishing the title if it meant that he would be able to gain it back through proper channels.
