Chapter 31 (Final)
Jedediah was still baffled at how simple it was to become the official Alpha of Red Mountain without having to participate in the challenge that he, himself, had instigated and requested almost a year ago. The fact that it had taken so long to reach this point still had his head spinning. He was still unsure if this was the end of it all, and decided to call Dorian to make sure the Elders weren’t pulling his leg.
“Hello?”
“You busy?”
“Always. But what’s up?” Dorian answered.
“I’m the Alpha of Red Mountain.”
“I already knew that.”
“No, I mean, I’m officially the Alpha of Red Mountain,” Jedediah emphasized.
“You won the challenge?”
“Didn’t have it.”

“I became Alpha by majority vote during my mom’s trial this morning.”
