Elder James and the rest of the council waited impatiently for Jedediah and Vivienne to arrive. Adelina’s trial was supposed to start over thirty minutes ago; however, no one could get in touch with Jedediah or Vivienne. Seth had tried multiple times, and even Andre and Dani attempted to contact them, but to no avail.
“Elder James, what is taking the Alpha so long to arrive?” Another Elder asked, growing impatient by the minute.
“I honestly have no idea, Gerard. The Alpha is usually very prompt,” Elder James replied, wondering if something had happened. But as soon as that worry came into his mind, it disappeared when a puff of pink smoke graced the courtroom.
