“She went alone?” Vivienne asked Jedediah. They were getting ready for bed when Jededian began to explain that his mother and Lynette had been involved and that Rylee was out looking for Adelina alone.
“Yeah. Her speed is incredible. She said I wouldn’t be able to keep up, and when I saw how fast she could run, I knew it was best that I stay home,” he explained.
“How fast can she really go? I mean, I understand she is a Primordial, but is their speed really that incredible?”
“That and then some,” he answered. “She could probably outrun your shimmering, Mon Coeur,” Jedediah claimed. Vivienne gasped.
“Non, that is impossible. Vampires can quite literally shimmer in a matter of seconds, Mon Loup.”
