Chapter 15
Jedediah and Rylee made their way down to the dungeon to interrogate Paulette. After finding out that she used some poison on Seth, which was initially intended for the twins, Jedediah was beyond angry. He was beyond hurt.
“GET UP, PAULIE!” Jedediah roared as he kicked the door of her cell, not caring that she was dead asleep. Paulette jumped out of the cot when she heard her brother.
“What the hell, Jed!?” Paulie shouted as she sat up, delirious from being in a deep slumber.
“That’s what I should be asking you!” Jedediah snapped at her. Paulette was shocked to hear the anger in his voice. It was worse than before. She feared the worst, and that’s when she noticed a foreign scent with him and saw a beautiful blonde next to him.
“Who is that?” she asked.
