“Me? Work with you? You cannot be serious!” Parades spat with disdain. Deacon was about to respond, but Charles beat him to it.
“Inspector, you have two choices. You can either work with Alpha Brown and his brothers, or I will gather the other elders of the region and put an end to your unsanctioned witch hunt.” Parades snapped his head in dismay.
“Unsanctioned!? The elders of the region started this investigation!” Parades exclaimed in disbelief.
