Since Mia's belly is, in her words, getting out of control, she insisted I take her Christmas shopping a little earlier than normal. Most shops haven't even put out their Christmas decorations since Thanksgiving is still a week away, but that doesn't spoil my girl's festive spirit.
After hours of being dragged around from one store to the next, we've finally stopped to eat. Chicago has some pretty amazing pizza and because Mia seems to crave it often, we eat a lot of it. Tonight, we've found a new spot situated next to Lake Michigan. The view is great and the pizza is even better.
"Are you sure you still love me after watching me eat?" Mia asks me through a mouth full of food.
