I step out of the car and stare up in awe of Logan and Katie's house. It is nothing short of breathtaking. While I can tell it was recently built, it has a Victorian style to it with large white columns that line the front porch and large, floor to ceiling windows.
"Nice place," I say to Logan as he walks past me carrying some of Mia's bags. I grab the rest and follow behind him. "Really nice place."
Logan chuckles. "Yeah, well I wish I could take some credit for it. My wife is the only reason we live this nice. I'm just the dumb s**t that she married."
I smile because I feel the same. Mia will probably do something big with her life since she's so smart and talented. I'm just going to be along for the ride. "What does she see in you anyway?" I ask Logan jokingl
