I made sure to act fast, before I could back out of what I was doing. I felt like I needed to prepare myself for more than I was prepared for, especially since Anoa seemed to be much more accommodating than I had initially thought that she would be. My heart felt like it was about to bounce right out of my chest at any minute now, but even so, I felt like I had no reason to be this nervous.
After all, it wasn’t like this was the first time that I was doing something like this, and I was sure that this wasn’t Anoa’s first time either. But it was our first time with one another. And that was the thing that set me off.
