I stare at the beautiful blend of colors painted on the canvas hung before me. It's been several hours since Aadhi was moved to his room. He's been moving his fingers and toes many times but that's it. He hasn't woken up yet and as every minute passes it adds to my anxiety but I wait patiently beside his bed.
I sent Oviya with my mom; I am sure she will be better there than here.
I turn my gaze towards the door when it opens and in walks Mini. As promised, she took the first flight she could get and reached Chennai within hours and she hasn't left my side since then.
"I got lunch for you, Ithu.." She holds up the carrier lunch box in front of me. 'You should eat something.."
"I am not hungry.." I say and turn away.
