This has been the most normal day I've had in a long time. Asher and Cal are gone to meet with Hailey, Jake got a phone call and suddenly had to leave, so that just leaves me, Logan and Katie in the house. It's just like old times. After Cody died, it was just us three quite often.
We've been sitting at the kitchen table playing board games to keep our minds off of everything that's been going on.
"You know, Asher swears you two are going to have a boy. He already refers to him as Baby Ed," I tell them.
Katie laughs, but Logan looks at me like I've grown a second head. "Ed? Like the talking horse?"
"No, that's Mister Ed," I laugh.
"So he thinks we're having a boy?" Katie asks through her laughter.
"He seems to be pretty sure. I don't know why."
