I can't believe Vince has been following Ashley all this time. He was probably there the day I got off the bus. He probably followed me to the shop the day I met her. I led him right to her. I can't believe I was dumb enough to believe he'd never find me. I thought I had something good here in Fort Collins. Kurt didn't know Jake. My mom doesn't even know where Jake lives. That's why I came here. I thought I'd have time to figure out my next move before Vince found me, but I didn't even have time to take a piss outside of prison before he was on my ass.
Ashley didn't ask to be tangled up in this mess. Hell, neither did I, but this mess is what ultimately led me to her. If I have to go through hell for her, I'll do it. Over and over again.
